Singer Bowling Club opened in 1921 and was part of the recreational side of the Singer Sewing Machine Factory when it closed in 1980 the club was renamed Singer 1980 .
President Mr James T C Leslie Opened the Green in 1921 with Mrs Riley (wife of the managing director) throwing the first Jack
Singer 1980 Bowling Club are on the Donor Wall at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow
